Teeny Tiny Tina and her Teeny Cousin Sadie
Tina’s cousin Sadie comes to stay for the summer. Excited at first, Tina grows jealous because Sadie can sing and dance. Tina forgets her own talents, and wants Sadie to go home. Tina’s mom asks Tina how she thinks she can deal with this situation. Tina thinks and thinks and remembers that she has many talents herself so she helps Sadie learn to read. Sadie teaches Tina how to dance and together they sing beautiful duets. Tina learns that we don’t need to compare ourselves with anyone else or feel threatened by other’s talents. Children also learn that it is fun to try new things and share what they know with others.
